History: Life was going just well for Troy. A promising student in his middle school. Class clown, voted Most Likely to be Successful in Life, as well as the life of the party. He was astounding at math for a seventh grader, he was funny, and fairly good looking in spite of his slightly small size. With powers like bringing pictures to life as well as controlling paper, a secret he kept from everybody including his family of parents, younger brother and older sister, he figured he couldn't afford to be anything less than perfect in the eyes of others.
It was in his late thirteenth year that he started growing odd tufts of hair. He played it off as best he could as a maturing young man. Eventually it began to thicken everywhere until he was finally found out. Ofcourse it was the teachers that noticed first and so, realizing that he was a mutant, began standing him out from the crowd. It wasn't long until it became far too obviouse that his family and friends noticed as well. It took a few days, but it seemed to him that he went from prince of his middle school to 'that guy that no one talks to.'
His body began to change to slow for him to really notice. He'd go to sleep and wake up feeling different. His face began to gain a discolored button nose with a small snout. The masses of fur covoring his body faded into a fine golden brown.
At this point, he had stopped going to school, his brother and sister stopped speaking to him. His parents loved him as much as they could, but humans have only so much understanding. He was kicked out of his home at the age of late-fourteen. Who knows exactly what he went through in the months between then and when he arrived at Black Hills Academy some months later, but you can bet it was nothing nice. He used to be at the top, and then he had nothing. Such change for him has left him a rather shy, broken boy.
